Exam fever is over and that means no more cramming. Happy thing number 1.
So as usual, headed to school early in the morning for math and art paper. Somehow or rather, I thought the math paper kind of had a bit of "standard" yet it doesn't meet the benchmark or is anywhere near touching the "difficult" line. It wasn't easy nor too brain draining(some were). Just 30-40% above mediocre though i can't guarantee anything. Haha.
Amelia, Melissa and me then went over to hougang mall for lunch before Amelia and I went to chill over at the Esplanade. Kinda cool, I would say. What ruins the atmosphere was the construction works which were making too much of a din and dirt behind the Esplanade. Chewed on junk foodies which we bought over at a shop in the Esplanade. Cost 50% more than what the normal market price offers. It is no wonder that there were hardly any patronizers. boo.
Oh yea, and before this, both of us unknowingly boarded the correct line but alighted at the wrong station which landed us both in MARINA BAY! woohoo, M.B was kind of heaven-like. Highways all around, cargoes, and parks after parks. No youths, just empty and lonesome long stretches of road that seem to lead to nowhere. Hang out over there for around 5 minutes before we boarded the train to City Hall station.
After the Esplanade, Amelia wanted to go to the MERLION PARK which comprises of 2 merlion statues. what started out as a casual and informal visit to the Merlion Park soon proved to be a real eye-opener. Man, you should have seen how people posed in front of the Merlion. Makes me wanna laugh right now. But I guess that just shows how symbolic and high the popularity rate of the merlion is. hmm. National icon indeed.
Final destination was MARINE SQUARE where we simply just wandered our souls away and walked aimlessly around.
=D
