A Little Story Of Mine

That's some lines from one of my favourite classic songs. (: Anyway I was having dinner with Aunt today and listening to some songs when something struck me. A really meaningful tale. If you are wondering why in the world am I tuning in to music at the dining table, there's a reason. The food tastes nicer when you plug in to music.

After some time, I felt quite jaded with choosing the library of songs in my MP3. So I thought,"Why not switch it to shuffle mode and let the player decide for me the song?" The first few selections were pleasant to the ears since I really like those but soon after, the songs which I do not quite like started playing. My mood for food went down plunging. That was then I realised, no, I shouldn't allow to player to decide the music on my accord. Instead I should take charge of the whole thing since running on shuffle mode would not necessary play out the songs I crave for. It's no different from leaving things in life, and resigning to fate. So, you must assume the role of Boss over here.

Moral of the story? Don't let your life run on shuffle.
