Let's ROLL!
Was chilling out with a friend over at the BITC. Great music there, hahah. And guess what, they were playing all those old classic songs, which I happened to know about 80% of them all. Can't remember all the songs that were played but I do remember a few.
1. How Deep Is Your Love - Bee Gees
2. Rock With You
3. A lil' bit of this, a lil' bit of that (can't remember the title, but yeah, this is part of the song's lyrics)
4. I'll Make Love To You
5. Michael Buble - I'm Your Man, etc
6. Frank Sinatra
7. Don't Want To Miss A Thing - Aerosmith version
Geez, and she was laughing at the fact that a 16-year-old like me know the songs here that only people in their late 20s or 30s do.
"That should add 10 years to your age," she said. She's 28.
I'm not sure if that should be taken as a compliment or wild remark. Hahaha. But yes, I'm more in tune with old songs like that compared to the type of music people in my generation should listen to. I can easily croon the songs effortlessly, without forgetting a single part of the lyrics. LOL. There're days when I wonder why I'm not born 10 years earlier, life will be much more delightful for me because throughout the course of this period, I found out that I do talk better with adults. Hahaha. Or rather, I've lots of things to share with them and common interests.
Hate the times when I have to pretend to be someone I'm not... just to make myself relevant to people of my age group. Hahahahahaha. So if you hear me listening to Lady Gaga or watching HSM, it's not because I like her songs or the show, it's because I HAVE to... because I'm 16! And yes, partly because most of my friends are also teens.
Now do you believe I'm 16? Or am I just trapped in the body of a 16-year-old?
