Paralysed By Nerves!
O levels Chinese is round the corner and I am getting all tensed about it. Damn. B4 for the common test paper is a real hit to the morale. Especially when O's chinese is just two and a half months down the road. I come home everyday feeling very weighed down because of this struggle with Chinese. I know my HMT teacher is worried about my progress so she initiated for extra lessons just to polish my Chinese. Thanks for being concerned! Talked to my teacher yesterday about the paper. She told me to do more mock papers right now. So I asked,"What if during the O levels, I won't be able to produce good results?"
"At least you'd tried. There's always this tiny thread of hope you can hang on to."
Thanks for the consolation and encouragement. I would try, so long as there is a chance, and as long as the results have not yet been released, to snag an A. Maybe this is my only way of repaying the teacher's dedication. But I don't know, every time I do Chinese papers, my scores are always fluctuating. Then in comes the uncertainty about my grasp of the language.
Anyway, just came back from Physics session with Mr Lee. Starting on sec 4's topics right now to gear ourselves up for the O levels next year and the olympiad. Lots of school events on the list and I feel like relieving myself of all the activities and just concentrate on bagging that A in the O level this year.
Like what Mummy says,"See, even your teacher is worried about your Chinese grades. You should be thankful."
Cuz at the end of the day, I don't wanna feel defeated and make myself look like the biggest moron, ever.
