The reason for running

A police officer attempts to stop a car for speeding and the guy gradually increases his speed until he’s topping 100 mph. He eventually realizes he can’t escape and finally pulls over.

The cop approaches the car and says, “It’s been a long day and my tour is almost over, so if you can give me a good excuse for your behavior, I’ll let you go.”

The guy thinks for a few seconds and then says, “My wife ran away with a cop about a week ago. I thought you might be that officer trying to give her back!”

A Smart Salesman!

A neatly dressed salesman stopped a man in the street and asked -
“Sir, would you like to buy a a bottle of this mouthwash for $200.00?”

Aghast, the man said, “are you NUTS?, that’s robbery!”

The salesman seemed hurt and then tries again -
“Sir, since you are a bit irate, I’ll sell it to you for 1/2 price at $100.00?

Again, the man replies bluntly - “you must be crazy pal, now go away!”

The salesman then reaches into his briefcase and pulls out 2 brownies and begins munching away on one of them. He tells the irate guy -
“Sir, please share one of my brownies since I have annoyed you so much”.

Unwrapping the brownie, the guy takes a bite; suddenly, the guys spits it out and says:
“HEY,” he snarled, “this brownie tastes like crap!!!”

“It is,” replied the salesman. “Wanna buy some mouthwash?”

I keep phasing out. But it is like I care. I jolly well want nothing to interfere with me now!

Perish booming! I hear the granite exploding and battering, well the holidays!

Damn. Damn. Damn. Goddammit. My lifeblood is.... a holiday break. So this morning I woke up around 7.30, all ready to watch 'Ace Wo Nerae', the Japanese drama show while mum went to get me my breakfast and the morning papers. I'm midway through episode 7 when mum came home with the steaming freshly-baked bread. I couldn't abstain myself any longer because I'm really really sickeningly famished. So halted all activity to enjoy my breakfast.

In all, there are nine episodes. So it seems like I'll be able to finish the whole thing today before I wrap up this holiday and get down to serious working again. Heehee. Blame this holiday for going away so fast, and soon it will be out of my sight.

Wanted to watch 'Attention Please' on crunchyroll. But i don't think it is possible. Well, save it for the next holidays then!

My Pursuit of Happyness

The sun greeted me resplendently this morning. And I know this marks a fresh start with a ripe beginning. But my mind couldn't function well this morning... yea, you can call it that.

Something sort of ''cropped up in the morning''. So, straight after reading the morning papers, I was sitting on my bed pecking out the newspaper article for the school... A little bit of paperwork. God damn it, so many things to be done yet so little time.

Met up with Amelia and Melissa at Kovan in the noon at Pizza Hut where they had their lunch. And yea, I rented a novel entitled 'The Fallen'. Hope I can finish the book as soon as possible before the heavy workload comes streaming in and me having to bury my head and complete them.

After which, we headed over to Plaza Singapura to watch 'The Pursuit of Happyness'. You see, we thought it would turn out to be a good and moving show that will touch the hearts of many and the kind of show which you'd expect the audience to tear. But it turned out the opposite. Amelia nearly dozed off mid way through the screening. To think I splurged $8 on a man and made him a multi-millionaire, supply him with more income but resulted in myself going broke! haha. So on a scale of 5, I'd rate it 2.5... neither bad nor good.

Although the show isn't that nice and not value-for-dollar (to me), I guess I really admire and laud the guy for his perseverance, strength and determination which translated into hope and success for him and his son... if only that could happen to me! Nah, come to think of it, I don't think I'll be able to withstand the kind of hardship that guy went through... so show mercy on me! Heehee. ^^

Missing Element

Lately, I've been starting to get bored with myself. You see, I was sauntering down a deserted pathway after school and thought about how my life lacked all the elements that are all present in an action-packed movie. Taking the same route to school everyday, boarding the same bus services to commute to school, food available in the canteen are always the same, interacting with the same usual people, and everything else remaining unchanged.

Yes, everyone goes through this. But what I need is a little, minor change. I'm not asking for much but I just need something refreshing to please myself as so to make my life more tantalising to me, me and maybe some people around me.

I am feeling weary now.

Now when is the day gonna come?

Where is the element of life????

Ghost Rider the Movie

Frankly saying, this film is packed with everything you would expect in a good movie. It is a "legend", but it seemed surreal. Every part of it enthralled and thrilled me so much that you can't wait to let the movie continue running and constantly fabricate the story up yourself throughout the whole show. It was marvelous and I do think the crews and all have had a tedious yet enjoyable time playing all the roles and all.

Seems like I'm giving quite a mendacious review over here because I have never lambasted at any movies I have ever seen. Well, except for a few. But I guess these are isolated and quarantined cases whereby the quality of the film, or whatever lame stuff featured in the show that I found odious enough. LOL.

Okay, and so back to my day. Firstly, 7 of us, Amelia, Cheryl, Kelly, Melissa, Angsiang, Kenneth and me headed over to Vivo City for the first weekend of the week to catch some movies. Melissa, Kenneth and me chose Ghost Rider over Just Follow Law while the rest of them went for the latter.

That is for the first half of the day. After the movie, Melissa, Amelia and me went to the foodcourt for Melissa wanted to have her lunch while amelia grabbed some bread from the breadtalk chain. The others lunch-ed at BK.

Second half of the day saw me, Melissa and Amelia going off to Plaza Singapura for some shopping and a little pampering of ourselves at a 'lousy restaurant'. Call it a 'restaurant'. Haha. Service was goddamn atrocious but was still tolerable. Now their cappuccino drink was like of a normal eatery standard.

Enough of that cuz smearing of name is strictly prohibited in my own opinion. But still, the place where we dined was, acceptable. Can make do with it, lar.

Followed which, we boarded the train home and Amelia had this urge to take pictures. So off we snapped. Melissa alighted at Serangoon station while Amelia and me stopped at Hougang station and made our way to Hougang Mall.

And yes, Thank You Amelia for the keychain. Cost you quite a bomb. Haha. Will recompense you next time!

That's all for today.
