NDP selection drive

Okay, this would be a really quick post cuz I'm tight for time. Went over to Evergreen Secondary for the NDP selection event yesterday. It was enjoyable but at the same time rigorous. I knew it was because 15 minutes into the drills and footwork stuff my pulse was racing real fast. You must think I'm insane to feel for my pulse at such a time, but after going through my SFA course, I would, occasionally have this habit to feel my heartbeat rate when doing things physically tiring. Then there was this time when I marched-on-the spot right after a break, and my ears went blocked. That has gotta to be damnest thing to happen because I hear all the noise on a high pitch, even my breathing. And that has got to mean that I can't hear how loud I was breathing. Then this friend beside me tapped me to check on whether I'm alright. She must be thinking I was panting. I shall give you all an overview of how I fared. I don't think I'm gonna get in. Made a few mistakes but they weren't that obvious to the eye. My marching. The sirs and mdms say my marching is fine when one looks at me from the front, but from behind they can find a really grave mistake. And that is, I usually have the habit to pull my arms too inwardly instead of going straight to the back. ROFL. That's a point enough to kill you. But after a while, I somehow perfected the right move... but a leopard never changes its spots, and slowly I revert back to my usual style but switched to the correct one when I discovered I made an error. Never mind, all that's in the past IS the past so I'm gonna put this behind me.

I'm now down with a bad cough. Mum keeps telling me to take cough syrup but I am the kind of person who thinks cough syrup makes you feel drowsy and thus spoil your day. You end up doing nothing but sleeping all day around. If I still stubbornly refuse to take my medicine, I guess it would be a shouting match between me and whoever tells me to have my cough syrup. After all, I had a shouting match once with my Dad when he tells me to drink Milo. I was having a sore throat then and ain't in the mood to drink such beverages lar. And guess the winner? Hah, it's me. Want to know the reason? It's a SECRET.

Byes.

Day at Melissa's house and Immunity Attack!

You guys wanna know what day it is today? It's WHITE DAY (also Marshmellow Day)! If you don't know what it is, then it's a real pity for you to be living on earth. hah, JKJK! (Amelia, I'm merely joking, I swear!)

The day was spent at Melissa's house with Amelia, Cheryl, Alex, Lennard and Han Guang. What else but to work on our SS project. Lennard's there because we were supposed to start researching on our History project but the time was mostly reserved for SS. But never mind since I've already completed the essay part. I've got a bad throat early in the morning and Amelia and Melissa kept teasing at me for the way I talked. Okay, it was awkward, I confess, but when a bad throat strikes you, you'll definitely be in no mood to enjoy your day. It hurts like millions of needles darting towards you and starts to prick at you. Rest assured, the two of you, that I would be the one making fun of you guys the next time round. ^_^ Stayed at Melissa's house till the evening and by that time, our energy have clearly been wiped out. Especially so for Amelia and me because my condition was getting from bad to worse. My head feels disoriented and the funny thing was that as Amelia, Cheryl and I were going on the overhead bridge, Amelia and I knocked onto the railings a few times. Kinda stupid but our legs were, at that point of time, giving out on us.

Went to consult a doctor at 9 in the night because my body system just couldn't stand the battle with the virus no more. There, I was given lengthy procedures of checking my blood pressure, temperature and the usual exhausting admin stuff. I loathe blood pressure-taking time because there's always this uncertainty of whether you can gonna be diagnosed with low blood or high blood pressure. Yes, I know there's a very unlikely chance you'll get it (AND TOUCHWOOD), but there's still this fright lingering inside me for no particular reason. Damn, am I relieved after all the tests, etc. True to what I'm experiencing now, the doctor says my inner body temperature is very warm while my surface temperature was a stark constrast to the former. I was already feeling hot-and-cold at Melissa's house. It's like the blood flowing in my body is baking hot but the temperature at which you touch my forehead says otherwise. I posed a rather "impolite" question to the doctor after all the tests and consultation. I asked,"Why do I have you see you monthly?" As far as I can recall, I'll been falling ill for numerous times since the start of the year. Which is considered surprising since I usually am unwell for once a year. I mean, excuse me, doesn't it tire you out to be visiting a clinic every month because you're down with some sickness? Hasn't curiousity overrode you to ask the doctor why you're sick at least once a month? For me, it does. And the doctor's response was that it might be because I'm away from home so often that I might have contracted the whatever infection from others. Fair enough but still, it's a chore to see you every so often, MR DOCTOR.

Lets get chillin'.

When a Boy becomes a Man - 11 March

Fourth day of the holiday and yes, how are you all doing? I've got a line of triumphant events on my programme list this time round. The most exciting one being my brother's graduation from BMT. The performances by the recruits were beyond brilliant and I like the part where they did the BMT roar. Then before the whole show wraps up, they actually tossed their caps up. Yes, like graduates throwing the mortarboards high up towards the sky.

The hilarious part comes while on the way to the ferry terminal. Derek, who is one of my bro's best sec4 pal called out for him from afar and asked whether the person standing next to him was is sis.(WHICH IS ME) When my brother acknowledged, Derek says something like,"No wonder she looks familiar." After which, my brother turns to me and asks whether I know or recognize him. And guess what's my reply?
"Isn't that guy your gay mate? Yes, I know him." Because other than him, there's Samuel, whom, I heard from others, has a very strong friendship with my brother. Anyway, Samuel's enlisting for NS today. So, congrats. I think I should stop here then. Will find some time out to share with you guys the rest of my adventures when I'm free.

One of my bro's best buddy! He's an idiotic guy! ;DD 3 months of rigorous training has made him a nutty.

This is the picture of my brother and his commander. When I saw this guy 3 months back, my brother told me he reminds him of Miss Fu! HAHAHAH!
Byes.

H-O-L-I-D-A-Y!

I haven't had any idea why, but it seems like I've got double vision right now. Everything appears fuzzy to me. Goddamn. Anyway, the March holidays's just 2 days away! I might consider going on my hunt for my anime collectibles. Oh, and I haven't let you guys see the Anpanman calendar I ordered from Kinokuniya some months back. Quite eye catching I'd say. It's imported directly from Japan but the tab's on my sis so it isn't that much of a concern to me in monetary terms. Will show you the pictures when I've got time to spare.

A levels results are out tomorrow! I'm bloody anticipating for my brother to return home. And he's graduating from BMT school on Tuesday. Big Day. Mum wants me to go with her to P.tekong that day.

It's hotting up. So, chill.
