I'm about three sheets to the wind!

I capped off my week with a nice little training back in school. Attendance wasn't good yesterday so there wasn't much for us to do. It was simply pure chit-chatting session I'd say considering I only gave my 60% best. Results are all back and I'm feeling kind of discontented with some. My combined humanities fetched a B3 and A maths, although it's an A1, I thought there is a lot a room for improvement. The thing with C.H is that I'm always scoring a B. I only got 16/25 for SBQ and I was rattling non-stop to Amelia about how I do not want to get a 10++ for SBQ. I told her I want to clinch at least a 20++. Haha. And then there's English. A subject that is set to heighten my disappointment. What astonished me most was almost all my friends seem to know my results my English despite the fact that I hardly bring results into conversations most of the times, except occasionally. The stunner was Physics. I left a whole page blank and managed to yield an 81%. I thought I was near to flunking the paper.

So incredible the way things work themselves out.

I've been eyeing a Palm or Blackberry for some time. Maybe it's time my parents accede to my request for one. Presenting... the Palm CENTRO!

The colour scheme for this picture isn't really catching. I'd do better with the white and green version. (= Do keep an eye out when you pass by mobile stores because it's the rage in town right now. ^^

Mummy, it's YOUR day!

11 May. It has got to be Mum's favourite day in the calendar. Before I start, here's my greetings to all Mummies on earth - HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY

Anyway, I must have nettled mum a lot this week cuz I've been blabbering the Happy Mother's Day phrase from my mouth since the beginning of the week. Remembered a conversation I had with Mum on the way to the car park just a few days back. My first words were of course the ones I've been repeating on the above few sentences. Mum retorted and said,"Stop wishing me Happy Mothers' Day endlessly. You need me to celebrate a Brother's Day or Sister's Day for you?"

That would be immeasurably cool. I would definitely come up with such a day if I were to write the calendar.

Started yesterday's and today's morning with some light reading. Nothing much, was some medical journals blah. It doesn't stir much interest in me but these books are very informative. Who knows you would be diagnosed with Cancer or tubercuolosis (touchwood, touchmetal, touchplastic) the next minute but you're not sure there is actually treatment that can remedy your ailment? Ditched my medical journals after an hour or so and indulged in 2 anime episodes before leaving the house with my sis to go comb the malls for mother's day gift.

As mentioned earlier, I had an appointment with my hairdresser in the noon but I was told she was on sick leave. And yes, the arrangement was deferred to some time this week? Of all times, she applied for leave yesterday. Just my luck. Decided to stop at Gelare for desert with sis and cousin before going to scour other malls in the evening yesterday. And guess what, I saw Mr Tan over there at Gelare. What a big world.

Feel like doing a bit of reading now. So, I should stop here. The mother's day gift shall remain a secret. I would not spoil the surprise when she hasn't even seen the present herself. Hah, who in the planet knows she might be shrewd enough to check on my blog address to see if there is any clue to what she's gonna receive?

Byes. And yes, I got Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows. He looks so unkempt and his face so mature in the pictorial drawing.

Departure of MYE and Movie

Shall formally welcome the end of the MYE with open arms. Days of intense studying, going through the same routine everyday thoroughly strains one. Very haggard. Anyway, there was E maths paper 2 and HCL today. The exams were rather fine except that Maths was pretty tricky. Not difficult, just that the questions require you to crack your brain a little. So now, as the MYE heads for the exit, I should bid it farewell in a nice nice way.

Did some camp planning after the HCL paper before making my way home and changing out of school uniform to meet Amelia, Cheryl and Melissa at Marina Square. Ealier plans to go on the Singapore Flyer were scrapped due to some reasons or other. Damn, I wanted so much to board the world's highest-scaling ferris wheel currently! But never mind since we caught the movie What Happens In Vegas. A typical romance story. Pallid and can be quite uninteresting at times, well, except for a few comical scenes that can tickle your ribs a little. Amelia shed a few tears. We found it rather surprising since the show wasn't that emotional or one that will tug at your heartstrings. Overall I found it quite touching but bored the hell out of me.

After movie was some shopping and dinner at Cavana Chicken. Lastly, before I forget, I finally am the proud owner of the Anpanman keychain! Haha! Been eyeing that for quite some time. My Anpanman collection has widened over time and Sis even asked me whether I want a lunchbox with the Anpanman pictures on it. I'll snap some photo to let you guys take a look at my collection when I feel like it. Will be going for a haircut with my Sis tomorow and perhaps going out to scout for some Mother's Day gift with my bro and sis.

Byes.

Nocturnal studying

Finally, a Saturday! But hell, there's still lots of study to be done and Mummy wants me to stay up late into the night to finish up my studies so that I wouldn't have to cram till the wee hours tomorrow night. Pretty okay for me cuz I'll be doing so even without her reminders. My eyelids are on the verge of shutting but never mind, there'll be brewing hot tea for me so as to jolt me to alertness.

Had dinner with my cousins and aunt today and while walking home, we passed by this playground. There were only 3 of us. Me and my 2 cousins and yes, for that very few, short, but fun-filled minutes, we relived our childhood times. Going on the slides, free-hand, chasing one another in circles and sweats trickling down. The sensation was really reminiscent of those sweet and innocent days. The only thing missing was the swings, see-saw and what's that you call, the merry-go-round where you stand on a big circle plate and you just need to give the plate a little jerk and it sends you spinning. It's been like centuries since I've gone to a playground and really indulge myself with the playing there. So maybe it was on a whim that i suggested going on the slides and all to my cousins. Very nice to let loose and rewind in such a way.

Ok, shall stop here then. Happy Saturday night!
